Recreation and leisure play a significant role in health and wellbeing.
The first half of this program we will discuss leisure benefits, how to
find accessible and meaningful activities and how to plan for leisure.
The second half of this program will be an opportunity to experience
Boccia. Boccia is a precision ball sport designed for all ages
and all abilities. Players throw, kick, or use a ramp to position their
balls as close as possible to a target ball. It’s strategic, social, and fully
inclusive — anyone can play and enjoy it.
